Tickets to the much-anticipated Mayweather vs. Pacquiao match went on sale yesterday, with prices ranging from $1,500 to $10,000. If your wallet isn’t as great about taking a hit as welterweight world titles Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. and Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao, don’t worry: Vegas is overrun with great fight options for budgets of every size.
Head to MGM, Bellagio, Aria, Vdara, The Signature, Mandalay Bay, Delano, Monte Carlo, Mirage, New York-New York, Luxor, Excalibur and Circus Circus for viewing parties that promise to get you a spot in the mob if not ringside. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster starting from $150. It’s a little pricier than Pay-Per-View, expected to cost $99.95 in high definition, but only at a viewing party can you high-five the nearest fight enthusiast, bump beer cans, and bellow at a closed circuit television.
If you’re a Pacquiao fan, we recommend attending a viewing party at the Delano. The Pac-Man almost always stays there, and what better way is there to show your support than taking part in your champ’s traditions?
And speaking of showing your support, Team Mayweather can do just that by stopping by an exclusively Mayweather pop-up store downtown. Get your hands on t-shirts, tumblers, and all sorts of fun boxing merch.
If you can’t quite swing tickets to the fight or a viewing party, head to the weigh-in. It’s just $10 a head and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to Susan G Komen and the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.
